Austria grew up in the bustling borough of the Bronx surrounded by her rich Dominican heritage and culture. Her first name always intrigues anyone who first meets her. Why Austria? It’s really simple– she was given her grandmother’s first name.
She discovered her love for travel and foreign languages while attending FLAGS High School where she learned Italian. Austria then obtained a B.A. in Liberal Arts from St. Lawrence University where she majored in Foreign Languages and Communications. While in college, she studied abroad in Rouen, France and Shanghai, China. She now speaks Spanish, English, French, Italian and Chinese-Mandarin.
Her sense of adventure has taken her around the world to Central America, the Caribbean Islands, Austria (of course!), Italy, Senegal, Slovakia, Thailand, Cambodia, Hong Kong, Indonesia and many more.
In her free time, Austria enjoys dancing, baking and spending time with her family, friends and her favorite dog, Benji. She can also be found planning her next cultural experience.
Austria’s multi-cultural background will be instrumental in connecting with North American planners and executives from international destinations. Junior Pawject Manager
As Junior Pawject Manager, Bunny ensures that all projects and meetings stay on track. One of her main methods of doing that is by getting up to stretch as a gentle hint that the meeting has gone on long enough, and it’s time to pay attention to her. She can be persuaded to extend deadlines with her favorite treat, baby carrots! Outside of her busy work schedule, Bunny enjoys sunbathing, long walks (not much of a runner) and is working on her yoga teacher certification.
Chief Happiness Officer
As the current Chief Happiness Officer, Benji supervises all smiles during our weekly sales meeting. On his free time Benji loves to play the guitar, play fetch and think of new ways to make this world a better place. He hates bananas but loves French Fries!
